From one shooting room to a full production facility.
A short account of how the space took shape, and what continues to guide how it is run.
Origins
Starting with a single cyclorama room.
Puyemu Studio opened in 2016 as a single room built around a cyclorama wall, aimed mainly at product and portrait photographers who needed a controlled space without committing to a permanent studio lease. Demand for video work grew faster than expected, and the layout had to adapt.
By 2019 a second area was added for constructed sets, and the following years brought a proper hair and makeup corner, a client lounge, and a monitor feed so clients could follow a shoot without stepping onto set.

Flexibility Over Fixed Sets
Lighting rigs and set areas are designed to be reconfigured quickly rather than locked into one look.
Separation Of Functions
Preparation, shooting, review, and editing each get their own space, so one activity does not slow another down.
Support On Request, Not By Default
Equipment and crew are available when needed, but a booking is never bundled with services a client did not ask for.
Straightforward Access
Ground-floor load-in and a simple booking process matter as much as the equipment inside the room.

Studio Opens

Second Shooting Area
A flexible set area is added to accommodate constructed backdrops and growing video demand.
Lounge & Monitor Feed
A client lounge with a live monitor feed is introduced so clients can review takes without entering the set.
Post-Production Suite
An on-site edit suite is fitted out, allowing footage to be assembled the same day it is shot.
